Lauren Nikiel Studio is a business rooted in my passion for design, aesthetically pleasing creative projects, children, and photography! My vision is to work together with families to provide tangible, lifelong artworks that capture the precious blessing of togetherness. As a child, I often crafted bouquets with wildflowers, re-painted the same sunset scene to perfection, or rode my bike with the neighborhood friends. Fortunately, adulthood isn’t much different. I began my career post-grad in San Diego, California in fashion marketing and floral design - photographing on the side while I earned my degree in media communications! After I taught wellness workshops to public school students with a non-profit, I was teaching at a Montessori school when I heeded God's invitation to a lifelong dedication to children's education. Today, I bring my creative passions and refined skills together as a family and brand photographer in North Carolina. I create family storytelling sessions through playful, documentary-style portraits.

As a child, Lauren was usually making perfumes and bouquets with wildflowers, repainting the same sunset scene to perfection, or riding her bike with her siblings and their neighborhood friends. Fortunately, adulthood isn’t much different. Lauren began her career post-grad in San Diego, California in fashion marketing and floral design. She developed her skills in photography, media, and creative strategy in these industries. After gaining the opportunity to teach wellness workshops to public school students with a non-profit, Lauren was overcome with joy while working with kids, and began teaching at a Montessori school where she fell deeper into the dedication to God’s calling on her life to work with children. Today, Lauren brings her passion and refined skills together as a brand and family photographer in North Carolina. She creates family storytelling sessions through her documentary-style and playful approach to portraits.
